PRAËM turns a BMW S1000RR into a high-tech eighties racer

PRAËM presented their new official build for BMW Motorrad France – a modern BMW S1000RR, upgraded for maximum performance, but dolled up to look like an 80s endurance racer. With a fairing based upon old Suzuka endurance racers and a paint-scheme that tracks back to the glorious days of BMW Art Cars, this bike removes the boundaries between the world of competition and performance, customization and style.

Needless to say, that as required for a race bike with this kind of desired performance, a lot of energy has gone into weight reduction. This becomes obvious when looking at the 5 kg saved, using Rotobox carbon wheels, that have been especially built to look like classic alloys.
